The Oklahoma City Thunder handed the Golden State Warriors a 104–97 loss on Saturday night. After the loss, their record dropped to 32–31, and the broader outlook remains quite challenging. They are now 9–15 without Stephen Curry this year.
While the MRI report showed no structural damage, Curry remains in a "day-to-day" rehab phase focused on pain tolerance. He has not yet advanced to full on-court work.
The team is also struggling to find consistency since Jimmy Butler III suffered a season-ending injury on Jan. 19. The front office later traded for Kristaps Porziņģis at the deadline, but he has played only two games because of illness.
As for Curry, the news off the court points to a collector's market that hasn't cooled on the four-time champion despite a rough stretch. According to sports business journalist Ben Burrows, a 2024-25 Panini National Treasures Curry Logoman Auto 1/1 sold for $1,040,697 Saturday night at Goldin Auctions.
Burrows added, “Result is the second-highest public sale for any Curry card, according to @CardLadder . Logoman patch drove the price despite the card being released 15-plus years into Curry's career. Sale is the 10th to top $1 million or more in 2026.”

A Logoman is widely considered the most coveted patch relic in the trading card market. And the high price reflects that Curry is a premier investment, even as he nears the end of his career.
NBA insider Matt Steinmetz believes Golden State will rest Stephen Curry through mid-to-late March or even early April before bringing him back. The goal is to keep their playoff spot within reach from the 8th seed while prioritizing Curry's recovery.
The Warriors visit the Utah Jazz this Monday with tipoff scheduled for 9:00 p.m. ET at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City.
