Steph Curry Shared A Hilarious Comment About Mike Brown

Mike Brown, associate head coach for the Golden State Warriors, had quite a day on Monday.

In the morning, it was announced that he would be the new head coach of the Sacramento Kings next season, which is both a huge honor and a huge challenge too.

Then in the evening, he found out that his current boss, Steve Kerr , was diagnosed with COVID and Brown would be required to step up and coach the team in their game against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Quite a day indeed.

Steph Curry made a humorous comment about Brown getting a new job on the same day he was tasked with leading his team.

“A lot of history was made. He was named head coach twice in 24 hours,” Curry said.

He continued: “I felt like we got traded to the Kings overnight.”

One thing is for sure: the Warriors certainly didn’t play like the Kings on Monday night.

The Warriors were able to put the Grizzlies away again on Monday night in a huge win that got them closer to the Western Conference Finals yet again.

They looked like a championship team and Brown’s temporary coaching definitely helped them secure the win.

Moving forward, things won’t be so easy for Brown.

He will soon be leading the Kings, one of the most troubled teams in the history of the NBA.

The Kings haven’t made a postseason in more than 15 years and have had a slew of problems.

Turning things around will be the biggest challenge of Brown’s career.

Hopefully, his time with previous teams such as the Los Angeles Lakers, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Warriors will help him formulate a plan and path forward that will work for the Kings.
