Steph Curry remains sidelined for the Golden State Warriors with a lingering knee injury. At the moment, the team has not provided a firm timetable for the former back-to-back MVPs’ return to action. Curry is reportedly making significant progress, but the Warriors have refused to pencil in a date for his comeback.

For now, Curry continues to take on the role of a cheerleader from the bench. This was on full display on Monday as the Warriors took on the Washington Wizards in another road matchup. The 12-time All-Star drew a lot of attention for what he did on the bench during the game.

The Warriors finally broke out of their slump on Monday night. After losing five in a row, Golden State breathed a collective sigh of relief following Monday’s 125-117 victory over Washington.

Kristaps Porzingis returned to his former stomping ground to play his best game as a Warrior thus far. The former All-Star big man dropped 30 points off the bench to lead his team to a much-needed win.

Another big-time performer for Golden State on Monday was De’Anthony Melton. The 6-foot-2 combo guard went off for 27 points on 12-of-17 shooting, to go along with five rebounds, four assists and two steals in 30 minutes of action.

Melton also threw down a massive one-handed slam in the third quarter. The poster dunk drew quite a reaction from Curry.

Curry got up off the bench after seeing Melton sky for the slam. The Warriors star’s stunned reaction turned heads on social media.

“New meme unlocked,” a comment on X read.

“Steph’s face said it all ” another said.

“He was shocked ” a user posted.

“Steph like ,since when you got hops like that?” a reaction read.

“Lol Chef  Curry is crazy ” said another.

“Steph wants to be on the court so bad!” declared a fan.

The latest update on Curry is that he has started on-court work with the objective of ramping up his activity in the coming days. On March 11, the Warriors announced that Curry will be re-evaluated in 10 days. That date is coming up, and fans are hoping for a more positive update on the 11-time All-NBA point guard soon.
