Stephen Curry, Draymond Green Planning Major Recruitment Push in Free Agency

Draymond Green may be seen giving a lengthy tirade at his teammates on the Warriors bench, but Stephen Curry was just seen nodding in silent approval. And that’s how both stars trust each other – even at this stage of their careers. Green even went to greater lengths, putting Curry’s name inside the NBA’s Mount Rushmore debate.

But with the Dubs struggling mightily this season, it’s quite obvious that the team needs help. With their season slowly slipping away, adding some additional talent in the offseason is a must. Add to the fact that Kristaps Porzingis remains sidelined due to a mysterious illness, the Warriors’ postseason push is in serious jeopardy.

But they have a bold plan as a team, especially Stephen Curry and Draymond Green. They are planning to recruit LeBron James in the summer.

It’s hard to envision that three players, who are all above the age of 35, have the capacity for a title run. However, on the marketing side of things, there’s no doubt that millions of people will tune in to watch the Warriors.

If LeBron decides to play for a 24th year, then this may become a possibility. The Dubs are already in the mix to have his services.

Stephen Curry’s Knee Injury Becoming A Real Concern

Without Curry, who is out due to a right patellofemoral pain syndrome in his knee, the Dubs have mostly fielded a G-League-like lineup as of late. They sorely miss their superstar. Even at 37, the four-time champ remains the go-to guy for this team. And his three-point shooting is still elite.

But when will Stephen Curry come back? He was honest about his recovery in a recent interview, saying, “I’m feeling better. This is a weird one. It’s kind of unpredictable how it’ll heal. Every day since All-Star Weekend has been progress; that’s all I can ask for. Hopefully I’m back out [there] soon … It’s going to be a little longer.”

If Curry cannot fully recover from this, it might be time to say goodbye to the Dubs dynasty.
