The Golden State Warriors have been the least active team in the NBA offseason. Jonathan Kuminga's contract stalemate has put them in a tough spot and prevented them from making any moves.
However, it's still business as usual for Stephen Curry and company. Regardless of who's out there on the floor, No. 30 will be ready to show in and show out.
With that in mind, Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area reached out to the four-time NBA champion to gather his thoughts on the recently released schedule, and Cu rry revealed his favorite cities to visit throughout the season.
"You take a good amount of time just seeing the flow of the whole year," Curry said. "I mean, there are certain cities I love to go to. You look at New York. You look at Charlotte for me. Toronto. Mostly where family is and you try to know when you're going to have some planning to know when you're going to be there. Long road trips. That type of stuff. But you don't get too deep into it."
Schedulemakers may be aware of Curry's travel preferences, as his team is slated to visit Toronto, Brooklyn, and Charlotte on a three-game road trip.
Notably, this schedule also poses multiple challenges for Steve Kerr's team. They'll have 15 back-to-backs, includin g five in the first 17 games of the season. Then again, while he admits it will be tough, Curry knows better than to make excuses:
"Very interesting and different schedule than what we're used to, just from the patterns of what I've noticed over the last 16 years," Curry told Johnson. "But everybody's got to play 82 and we hope to be able to get through it."
The Warriors will continue to try to find a solution to the Kuminga situation and make some moves ahead of the season. They'll tip off the campaign on Oct. 21 with a road date with LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.
