After the Golden State Warriors lost to the Sacramento Kings, Stephen Curry sent a strong message to Draymond Green.

Green, who made his return to the lineup after serving his five-game suspension for putting Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert in a headlock, picked up four personal fouls and one technical foul against the Kings.

Curry said Green’s technical foul was a “dumb” tech given by the ref. However, he wants Green to be more focused.

The Warriors blew a 24-point lead to the Kings. Curry, who played 37 minutes, finished with 29 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and five turnovers while shooting 8-of-20 from the field, 4-of-12 from beyond the arc and 9-of-9 from the free-throw line.

Green, meanwhile, put up eight points, six rebounds, three assists and four turnovers while shooting 3-of-8 overall and 2-of-4 from 3.

The Warriors are the first team since 2014 to commit at least 20 turnovers and allow 40 or more free throws in the same game. Golden State is now 8-10 on the season.

“In my experience in this league, you have one gut-punch loss a year where you go into the locker room and cannot believe you just lost the game,” Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said. “Last year we had one of those in Utah. This one felt like that. … We’re not in a free fall. It’s the early part of the season. We’re losing a bunch of close games. You can see it on tape every game. Fouling and turnovers. I can only say it so many times. Those two things have to improve. When they do, we’ll be really good.”

The Warriors’ dynasty looks like it’s over. Even though Curry is still playing at a high level, his supporting cast isn’t good anymore.
