The Golden State Warriors continue to roll. They completed a second-half comeback to defeat the New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden 114-102.
Point guard Stephen Curry had an average first half, shooting 3-for-9 for eight points.
It was the second half when Curry truly exploded. He shot 7-for-12, including 4-for-6 from 3-point land, to finish with 28 points.
The Warriors improved to 9-1 with the win since trading for Jimmy Butler at the deadline.
The lore of Curry continues to grow with each passing season and even each passing game.
Whenever the GOAT discussion is mentioned, it often starts with Michael Jordan, with players like LeBron James following soon after.
Some would argue, though, that the "GOAT" should be determined by if/how you change the game of basketball, not just how you fit into it.
That's exactly what Fox Sports' "Breakfast Ball" was debating Wednesday, as analyst Craig Carton wouldn't begrudge certain people for making the greatest of all time argument for Curry.
"If you wanna argue Steph Curry’s the best player you’ve seen, depending on your age, I won’t argue against you," Carton said. "Only two players changed basketball: Wilt Chamberlain and Steph Curry."
Danny Parkins was quick to jump in and agree with Carton.
"Steph basically was like 'Hey, remember three is worth more than two and I'm really good at shooting threes, so we should do that more,'" Parkins said. "Now everyone in the league does it more. He's the best shooter of all time. He's changed the game more than anyone since Wilt."

While they go on to agree that Curry's defense and athleticism weren't as good as Jordan's, they do agree that, in any hypothetical starting five argument, Curry has to be on your team.
The Warriors are currently the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference. As it sits, they wouldn't have to play in the NBA Play-In Tournament, which benefits the veterans on that team.
