Stephen Curry's Sister And Brother-In-Law Expose His Social Media Activities At Halftime

Stephen Curry's sister, Sydel Curry-Lee, and her husband, Damion Lee, appeared on the latest episode of the Straight to Cam podcast, where they hilariously exposed the Golden State Warriors superstar. The couple reacted to Curry revealing he checked social media at halftime of games by sharing that he actively searched for haters on X. 

"Do you remember when he used to read hate comments on Twitter whenever he needed to [fuel himself]?" Sydel asked her husband.

Lee had played alongside Curry on the Warriors and revealed his former teammate's habit.

"He would type in his name on Twitter at halftime," Lee said. "And it would be like, 'Oh, Stephen Curry this,' whatever. And he'd look at it for probably like a minute or two and scroll. Close his phone, put it down, and then go crazy in the second half."

Sydel revealed it got to the point where some started purposefully writing hate comments to motivate her brother. That certainly wasn't a bad tactic. 

Curry bouncing back from slow starts by devastating the opposition after halftime is something we have seen happen time and time again in his career. The most famous example of that perhaps came in Game 6 of the 2019 Western Conference Semifinals against the Houston Rockets. 

Curry had gone scoreless in the first half but then blitzed the Rockets with 33 points in the second to power the Warriors to a 118-113 win. Maybe he read some posts at halftime about just how bad of a night he was having.

Lee was on that Warriors team, but he played no part during the playoffs as the Warriors lost to the Toronto Raptors in the NBA Finals. His role would increase in the following years, and he'd win a title alongside Curry in 2022. 

Lee left the Warriors and joined the Phoenix Suns after that triumph, but that certainly didn't lead to any issues. Curry memorably went wild celebrating his brother-in-law's game-winner against the Dallas Mavericks back in 2022.
