It's no secret that the Golden State Warriors have found their stride in the season. In the 13 games they've played since they added Jimmy Butler, they've posted an 11-2 record.

The Warriors could have even more help on the way, too.

Two months removed from Jonathan Kuminga's ankle injury, the young star forward should soon be able to return to the hardwood.

Evidently, the club thought he might return by the team's current homestand, yet they're playing their second straight game in the Bay Area and he remains sidelined.

While Brandin Podziemski hasn't been out with injury nearly as long as Kuminga, he's set to miss his second-straight game since exiting against the Brooklyn Nets early with a back injury.

Podziemski is one player who benefitted in a massive way from Butler's presence, and it'll be intriguing to see if Kuminga is also a beneficiary of the star forward.

Steve Kerr makes Kuminga, Podziemski announcement

Evidently, that time should come soon, too, as Steve Kerr provided another update on the two young players and their respective returns to the floor, according to Anthony Slater.

"Steve Kerr said he’s hopeful that both Jonathan Kuminga and Brandin Podziemski will return later this week," Slater shared on X.

In the meantime, while the two remain in street clothes, the Warriors, riding the coat tails of Stephen Curry's MVP-level play, will host the Portland Trail Blazers.

Portland happens to be emerging as of late, with the Warriors being among the hottest teams in the league.

Both sides should bring a high-level energy to the matchup, which will bring an entertaining, close game -- something the new-look Warriors have become accustomed to.
