The Warriors were already in a critical place before, but things became much more dire after Jonathan Kuminga reportedly leaked his unhappiness to Shams Charania and Anthony Slater.
While it was uncertain if the report was true, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr all but confirmed it when he stated that both he and Kuminga have had a talk. Kerr addressed the issue head first with the media, giving a vey open answer.
"We talked," Kerr said. "Obviously, those things are better discussed behind the scenes. Any time something like that goes public, then it creates distraction and I think it's important for all of our guys. You've got an issue? I'm here. I am the most accessible coach in the league probably, my door is always open. I have players all the time come talk to me and I encourage it. It's a difficult situation because every player naturally has his own goals, his own dreams, everyone wants to flourish, everyone wants to blossom. We have a lot of guys who are capable of playing and I have very difficult decisions to make every night. JK is a young player who is growing, he's getting better, it's why he's been in the starting lineup. He will continue to grow, this is all part of his growth."

One thing to note is that Kerr isn't slamming Kuminga in any way or mentioning that there are plans to trade him. He's still praising the young forward and speaking positively about his growth.
Things definitely aren't over for this Warriors team, despite the unhappiness, but the team needs to start winning now.
