With all the craziness going on in the NBA the last couple of weeks, it's nice to hear some positive news about the future. Well, at least it's positive for Warriors fans.
The Dubs are eyeing a January return for All-Star Klay Thompson, who hasn't played since the 2019 NBA Finals due to multiple knee ailments. Thompson was spotted practicing solo at Chase Center on Wednesday and, apparently, got a pretty good workout in.
Klay Thompson is getting some work in alone right now on the main game floor at Chase Center. Got a pretty good sweat going. The other guys are down at the practice court.

Following the practice, head coach Steve Kerr didn't jump the gun and say when Thompson would return but did offer up that the guard "looked great" during practices.

"Looked great. Practiced fully today. He’s really coming along well. Nothing to announce or anything, but he continues to improve."
Thompson has logged time with the Dubs' G League affiliate in Santa Cruz ahead of his return and "played in three game-length scrimmages" ahead of Golden State's recent road trip on the East Coast, ESPN reported last week.
The Warriors are scheduled to host the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday before flying to Phoenix for a rematch against the Suns on Christmas day.
