Ready or not, here come the New York Knicks again.
That seems to be the case after the Knicks raced past the crosstown rival Brooklyn Nets
The Knicks have won five of six and are back on track, even without injured starting forwards Julius Randle and OG Anunoby, and injured center Mitchell Robinson.
A big reason has been the continued fantastic play from All-Star point guard Jalen Brunson, as well as backcourt-mate Donte DiVincenzo (31 points in Saturday’s win over the Nets).
“I’m just trying to make the right play. Be aggressive,” DiVincenzo told reporters.
Center Isaiah Hartenstein added 17 points and nine rebounds and said he’s starting to feel healthy again. He’s been bothered by an Achilles issue most of the season.
“We’re playing more unselfish basketball right now and that’s fun for me,” Hartenstein said. “It lets me do what I was brought there to do.”
