The Phoenix Suns are the defending Western Conference champions and the conference's No. 1 seed this spring. The team suffered a surprising defeat at the hands of the eighth-seeded New Orleans Pelicans in Game 2 of their best-of-seven first-round series, though, and have lost home court advantage.
The Suns are facing a potentially even bigger blow to their NBA title hopes now though, as ESPN's Brian Windhorst gave a concerning update regarding three-time All-Star Devin Booker.

Booker went down with the injury in Game 2 on Tuesday, a contest in which he scored 31 points. Game 3 is set for 9:30 p.m. ET on Friday.
With the two-to-three-week time frame on the table now, the former Kentucky Wildcat will almost certainly miss the remainder of the series against New Orleans. If Phoenix were to advance to the Western Conference semifinals, Booker could return to action then, depending on how quickly he recovers.
