Suns Complete Comeback, Defeat Bulls
Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

Another night. Another 20-point comeback.

The Phoenix Suns emerged victorious over the Chicago Bulls in 115-113 fashion on Monday night, overcoming what was once a 23-point deficit to extend their winning streak to six games.

After a mostly back and forth start to the game, the Bulls pulled away and led by nearly 20 points in the late stages of the first, eventually ending the period up 37-22. Chicago shot an astounding 65% from the field to open things up while the Suns made just one of seven three-point attempts.

Not much changed in the second, as the Suns trailed 66-49 heading into the break after they were out-shot 28-17 in attempts by Chicago. Pace of play has been a big talking point in Phoenix and the Bulls certainly showed what a fast-pace offense can do.

The Suns finally found their footing in the third quarter, drawing their deficit to just seven points in 90-83 fashion heading into the final frame thanks to a spark from Kevin Durant and none other than Drew Eubanks off the bench.

Phoenix put themselves ahead 95-94 for their first lead of the game with seven minutes left. The two sides then went blow-for-blow down the remaining stretch of play.

With under 30 seconds left, Durant sank an open three to push Phoenix ahead 113-111.

After Chicago answered, Durant hit a jumpshot with 1.6 seconds remaining to eventually ice the game and complete the comeback.
