Suns' Devin Booker Projected to Make All-Star Game
Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

The Phoenix Suns have already seen one of their own in Kevin Durant crack the 2024 NBA All-Star Game lineup as a starter - and soon could see Devin Booker join the party.

The NBA will reveal its list of reserves to fill out both the East and West rosters later today, and Booker is expected to make his fourth appearance as an All-Star.

"Any remaining drama over Booker’s inclusion likely disappeared when he scored 152 points in a three-game span last week; he now ranks 10th in the league in PER, boosts a 61.7 percent true shooting mark and after an early injury is up to 38 games played," wrote The Athletic's John Hollinger in his predictions for what the rest of the roster will look like.

"He passes the, 'Really, how good is he though?' smell test with flying colors too and is basically a lock at this point."

Anthony Edwards was tabbed as the other reserve guard in the West.

Booker is the defending Western Conference Player of the Week and has found his footing on a star-studded court that features Durant and Bradley Beal along his side.

"Just a spectacular player," Suns coach Frank Vogel said of Booker.

"I think he should have been voted to be an All-Star starter, personally. I think the whole world can see that. He'll be in that game when coaches vote."

The 2024 NBA All-Star Game will take place on Feb. 18 in Indianapolis.
