There was some concern about Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker in Tuesday's game against the Miami Heat. The Suns visited the Heat for their first meeting of the season. Being from opposite conferences, the two teams are only scheduled to face each other twice.

Late in the third quarter, however, the Suns had an injury scare with Booker. The four-time All-Star played great defense as he broke up an alley-oop play between star guard Tyler Herro and second-year forward Pelle Larsson. His defensive effort translated into an easy dunk from Dillon Brooks on the other end.

Following the play, Booker stayed on the ground and grabbed his left leg. Shortly after that, he limped back to the locker room.

At the start of the fourth quarter, Booker was back on the bench, stretching his leg. He checked in at 9:11 on the clock to continue the game.

Shortly after that, he was whistled for the defensive foul on Larsson. Booker didn't like the call and gave the younger forward a slight shove. He earned a technical foul for his gesture. The Heat's Jaime Jaquez Jr. also received a technical foul.

In the end, the Suns suffered a 127-121 loss to the Heat. Booker finished with 24 points, nine rebounds and nine assists on 31.6% shooting. It was a tough scoring night for the star guard, as he shot 1-for-5 from deep. Dillon Brooks helped with 25 points and two steals on 1-for-10 shooting from downtown.

The Suns move on to the second game of their six-game road trip. Phoenix will face the Detroit Pistons on Thursday.
