Phoenix Suns forward Dillon Brooks has been fined $25K for making a lewd gesture on the playing court, the NBA announced in a news release (X link).

The incident occurred late in the second quarter during Thursday’s blowout win over Indiana, according to the league.

Brooks had arguably his best game as a Sun on Thursday, pouring in a season-high 32 points (on 12-of-18 shooting) in just 28 minutes. The former second-round pick is in the third season of a four-year, $86M contract, so the fine won’t impact him much financially.

Brooks, who played his college ball at Oregon, is no stranger to fines, having been suspended several times during the course of his nine years in the NBA. The 29-year-old Canadian is in his first season with Phoenix after being traded from Houston over the summer as part of the Kevin Durant blockbuster.
