As the Phoenix Suns open up a four-game road trip against the Denver Nuggets on Friday, their latest injury report features the same players with the same ongoing injuries, including that of star guard Bradley Beal.
Beal was pulled out of Phoenix’s miraculous comeback win against the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday with calf soreness, the same injury that kept him out of two-straight games at the end of February. Ahead of their matchup with the Nuggets, Beal is listed as questionable with left calf injury management.
Along with Beal, Cody Martin (sports hernia) and Monte Morris (low back injury management) are listed as out. Martin has been battling the same hernia injury since he was traded to the Suns. Coach Mike Budenholzer said he had no updates on the forward on Tuesday and said that he is “progressing.”
For Denver, Nikola Jokic (left ankle inflammation) and Aaron Gordon (left ankle sprain) are both questionable. Zeke Nnaji (left ankle sprain) is probable and Julian Strawther (left knee sprain) is out.
Phoenix (29-33) is 2.5 games behind the Dallas Mavericks for the final play-in spot in the Western Conference and takes on the Mavs in this four-game road trip.
