The Phoenix Suns will be at home on Tuesday night as they face off against the Golden State Warriors in a pivotal Western Conference matchup.
Of course, Tuesday’s game is a massive one for both sides due to playoff seeding, but the Suns have a lot more to lose.
Phoenix currently sits two and a half games behind the Dallas Mavericks for the final Play-In spot in the West and their playoff hopes are quickly dwindling with the regular season ending on Sunday.
Of course, the Suns enter Tuesday’s contest amid a six-game losing streak and they will have a tough task in front of them to take down a Warriors team that has won seven of their last 10 games.
To make matters worse for Phoenix, they will once again be without their superstar forward Kevin Durant in Tuesday’s matchup.
The Suns announced on Monday night that Durant has been ruled out for Tuesday’s game as he continues to recover from a left ankle sprain.

Kevin Durant (left ankle sprain) OUT.
Nick Richards (right elbow soreness) PROBABLE. #Suns #DubNation
Durant suffered the injury against the Houston Rockets on March 30 and was held out of Phoenix’s three-game road trip last weeks.
This is a massive blow for the Suns who are fighting for their playoff lives in the final week of the regular season, and they will now once again be without their star player.
It was expected that Durant could return by the start of this week against Golden State on Tuesday but they will now have to wait for his return, which could come as soon as Wednesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
With Durant out, expect Royce O’Neal and Grayson Allen to continue to have increased roles while Devin Booker will be relied on to carry most of the load offensively.
Phoenix also announced that Nick Richards is probable for Tuesday’s game.
Fans can catch Tuesday’s matchup between the Warriors and Suns at 10:00 p.m. EST on TNT.
