Suns Predicted to Trade Bradley Beal to Bulls For Former No. 4 Overall Pick
Rick Scuteri-USA TODAY Sports

The Phoenix Suns have made many changes thus far this offseason, which was expected, and they are expected to make more throughout the summer.

Of course, the Suns started their offseason by trading Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks and draft capital.

They then entered the 2025 NBA Draft where they selected Khaman Maluach 10th overall and then drafted Rasheer Fleming and Koby Brea in the second round.

Phoenix also made a major trade during the draft as they acquired Mark Williams from the Charlotte Hornets to upgrade their frontcourt.

With the Suns making all of these moves, they still have some key decisions to make including what to do with star guard Bradley Beal after his struggles last season.

Phoenix could elect to try and trade Beal despite his no-trade clause this summer or they could end up buying out his contract.

Suns insider Gerald Bourguet recently released a mock trade on his podcast that would send Beal to the Chicago Bulls for a former No. 4 overall pick.

In the trade, he has Phoenix trading Beal to Chicago for Patrick Williams, Zach Collins and Jevon Carter.

While this trade would work well for the Suns, they would likely have to include draft capital due to Beal’s large contract and the Bulls may also not want to take on Beal or his contract heading into next season.

While that may be the case, swapping Beal for three players who would improve their depth would be a great move for the Suns, especially with Williams being part of the deal.

Of course, Williams has not lived up to being the fourth overall pick in the 2020 draft as he has struggled with injuries over his career, but he has shown flashes.

Despite this, the Bulls would likely not want to add Beal to their roster, especially with who they would have to give up in return.
