Tacko Fall is back in the NBA on an Opening Night roster.
The Philadelphia 76ers intend to sign Fall to a two-way contract and he will remain with the squad for the start of the NBA season. Interestingly, Tony Jones of The Athletic indicated that Fall’s impact in the locker room helped cement his roster spot.
The Philadelphia 76ers are signing center Tacko Fall to a two way contract, league sources tell the Athletic. Fall has made a real impact in the locker room this preseason. He played well before going down with a hip strain. He gets the final two way spot

The Sixers clearly like Fall, because they signed him without him ever appearing in a preseason game. He made an impression during training camp, but a hip injury prevented him from getting any game time.
Fall has not played in the NBA since a brief stint with the Cleveland Cavaliers during the 2021-22 season. Since then, he has primarily played in China, though he also spent time in the Australian league.
It is safe to assume Fall will not have a huge role this season. A number of fans, however, think they already know what the 76ers are hoping to use him for at some point this year.
