The Milwaukee Bucks dropped their 12th loss in 15 games with a 130-99 defeat against the Portland Trail Blazers on March 25 at the Moda Center. Ryan Rollins led Milwaukee with a career-high 36 points on 13-of-26 shooting, surpassing his previous season highs of 31 points, which he reached twice earlier in the year.
“Credit to him – he puts in a lot of work, every day honestly, whether it’s a practice day or a shootaround day,” Taurean Prince commented on Rollins’ big night despite their team’s losing effort via The Athletic’s Eric Nehm.

“He’s always one of the guys working. So, not a surprise for me. It’s good to see his growth, through different coverages and different things they’re throwing at him. For him to be able to handle that, it’s impressive.”
Rollins logged 31 minutes on the court, playing the entire third quarter, and contributed four assists along with four rebounds.
Heading into Wednesday’s game, the 23-year-old was averaging 16.8 points, 5.6 assists, and 4.6 rebounds per contest this season.
The former Toledo Rockets standout inked a three-year, $12 million deal with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2025, yet his play this season has already outpaced the expectations set by that contract.
“You can take something good from everything. So I mean yeah, just going against some of the top defenders in the league that are very aggressive, just finding ways to keep playing through that and keep my head in some situations where I feel like they’re getting away with some grabs and holds or whatever the case may be. Just a learning experience. Everything win, lose, draw, you could take something from.” Rollins remarked after the game.
