Los Angeles Lakers fans had to wait 14 games, but they finally got to see Lebron James take the court for the first time this season in a 140-126 win over the Utah Jazz. LeBron scored 11 points on 4-of-7 shooting while dishing out 12 assists in 30 minutes after spending the first month and change of the year dealing with sciatica. James made history by becoming the first person to play a game in 23 different NBA seasons, breaking his tie with Vince Carter for the most seasons all-time.
While it took him until the second quarter to get on the scoreboard, by reaching 11 points he also managed to extend his streak of double-figure scoring games to a staggering 1,293 games.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. There have been 30 players in NBA history to score 10 or more points at least 1,000 times. How many of those players can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
