Whether you like how he got there or not, the player now with the second-most points in an NBA game is Miami Heat veteran Bam Adebayo.
The two-time Olympic gold medalist passed Kobe Bryant with an 83-point performance against the Washington Wizards this week, coming with a staggering 43 free throw attempts. Adebayo began the contest with a 31-point first quarter, which tied a Heat record for points in one half and eclipsed LeBron James’ mark of 25 points in a single frame.
Adebayo finished the game 20-for-43 from the field, 7-for-22 from deep and 36-for-43 from the charity stripe.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Adebayo’s 43 free throws taken and 36 made are both single-game NBA records. With that being said, can you name every NBA player to make more than 20 free throws in one game?
Good luck!
