Stephen Curry may not go down as the best basketball player of all-time, but he’ll always be remembered as one of the most influential for spearheading the rise of the three-pointer.
Now, he’s the first active player to have an exhibit in the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
According to ESPN’s Anthony Slater, the exhibit is called “Stephen Curry: Beyond the Arc,” and the future (and now current?) Hall of Famer said in a release that “when I think about my journey, I think about the people who believed in me, the work that happened when nobody was watching and the moments that shaped me on and off the court. To have that story told while I'm still playing is something I don't take lightly."
Curry is far-and-away the NBA’s all-time leader in triples, with his 4,248 giving him a cushion of more than 850 over second-place James Harden. He’s made the most three-pointers eight times in his 17-year career and is the only player ever to make 400 in one campaign.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. There are 22 players who have made at least 250 three-pointers in a single NBA season. How many of those players can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
