After the Minnesota Timberwolves took Game 4 from the Spurs in San Antonio following Victor Wembanyama’s second-quarter ejection, Anthony Edwards said the Spurs were actually more difficult to play against without Wemby.
While Edwards may have had a point, the statement didn’t age too well. Behind 27 points and 17 rebounds from Wembanyama in his return, the Spurs won Game 5 126-97 at home to take a 3-2 lead and move within a win of the Western Conference Finals. The Frenchman added five assists and three blocks while committing three turnovers in an effort that caused Reggie Miller to suggest Minnesota needs to sit four-time Defensive Player of the Year, Rudy Gobert.
“I think you need to make a change,” Miller said on the broadcast.
“I love Rudy Gobert, but if he’s not going to give you anything in the post, their best lineup is when they go small. Bring in Naz Reid. That brings Victor out of the paint.”
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Wembanyama is one of just 11 active players to score at least 25 points and grab at least 15 rebounds in multiple NBA Playoff games. With that being said, can you name every active NBA player to do that in the postseason at least once?
Good luck!
