While we’re still just under halfway from the last NBA Finals game to the first regular season contest of 2026-27, NBA fans now know who will end the drought. The Boston Celtics will take on the Detroit Pistons in the Motor City as they begin the post-Jaylen Brown era.

The Celtics made the second-biggest splash of the offseason when they traded Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers for Paul George, committing their future to 28-year-old Jayson Tatum.

Tatum missed the majority of the 2025-26 season as he recovered from a torn achilles in the 2025 Eastern Conference Semifinals, returning in March and playing 16 regular season games. But despite finishing second in the East and a healthy Tatum and Brown facing a hobbled Joel Embiid and the 76ers in the first round, Philly bounced Boston in six games.

The combination of Tatum and Brown won the Celtics an NBA title just three seasons ago, but president of basketball operations Brad Stevens decided it was time to break the duo up.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. While Brown took home Finals MVP honors in their championship season, Tatum has proven he’s more than capable of carrying a team to victory in the postseason. With that being said, can you name the players to score 50 points in an NBA Playoff game?
