As they have done all postseason, the New York Knicks routed the Cleveland Cavaliers 130-93 to complete the sweep and advance to their first NBA Finals in 27 years.
A balanced attack once again paved the way for New York, with six players scoring in double-figures. Karl-Anthony Towns led the Knicks with 19 points and 14 rebounds in just 26 minutes of action. Despite becoming the first Knickerbockers team to make the NBA Finals in a generation, Towns said the team knows the job isn’t done.
“This team is hungry, that’s the most important thing,” said the 11-year veteran heading to his first-career NBA Finals.
“Even with this amazing, historical win, the celebrations were minimal. We want to get back to work. That’s what makes this special, and that’s what’ll give us a chance to win the next series.
Riding an 11-game winning streak, New York once again has to play the waiting game to learn their next opponent with the Western Conference Finals tied 2-2.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. The performance was Karl-Anthony Towns’ 42nd-career postseason double-double, good for 12th-most among active players. With that being said, can you name the active players with at least 20 double-doubles in the NBA Playoffs?
Good luck!
