Behind Jalen Brunson’s 12th 30-point game of the season, the New York Knicks beat the Toronto Raptors 117-101 to advance to the semifinals of the NBA Cup.
Brunson shot an efficient 13-of-19 from the field (and 6-of-9 from three-point range), with 20 of those points (and four of those threes) coming in the first quarter. Despite his opening-frame explosion, the Knicks led by just four points before taking control in the second and never letting go.
The 17-7 Knicks have won four games in a row, and Brunson has reached the 30-point milestone in three-straight. In the win against Toronto, he tied Richie Guerin for third all-time on the Knicks 30-point game leaderboard with 87.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Tuesday night was the 16th time in Brunson’s eight year career that he’s made at least six three-pointers in a single game. Can you name the active NBA players to do it at least 15 times?
Good luck!
