The 'Most 2,000-point NBA seasons' quiz

Just days before the start of the 2025-26 NBA season, Kevin Durant signed a two-year, $90 million contract extension with the Houston Rockets

While Durant was eligible for up to $120 million over those two years, he decided to take a pay cut to give the Rockets more flexibility in what could be the final two seasons of Durant’s Hall of Fame career. Even still, the contract officially makes Durant the highest-paid player in NBA history – at least for now. Durant’s newest deal takes him over $598 million in career earnings in the NBA, passing LeBron James’ $581.3 million in NBA pay.

After missing the playoffs in his final season as a Phoenix Sun, Durant gets his first year as a Rocket started against the reigning-champion Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA’s first game of the season.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Durant has won four scoring titles in his 17-year career, eclipsing 2,000 points in seven different seasons. With that being said, can you name the NBA players with multiple 2,000-points seasons since the NBA/ABA merger in 1976?

Good luck!
