The 'Most 20-PPG NBA seasons' quiz

Happy 36th birthday to nine-time NBA All-Star, seven-time All-NBA honoree, 2012-13 Rookie of the Year, Damian Lillard!

Selected with the sixth-overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft out of Weber State, Lillard has entrenched himself as one of the best players of his generation and a Portland Trail Blazers icon.

He started all 82 games in his 2012-13 Rookie of the Year campaign, averaging 19.0 points and 6.5 rebounds-per-game. So far, it’s also the only season of his career that he’s scored fewer than 20 points-per-contest.

Over the next decade Lillard would deliver some legendary NBA Playoff moments for the Blazers, including this series-winner over Paul George and the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2019.

But after failing to get through the Western Conference Finals in his first stint in the Pacific Northwest, Lillard was traded to Milwaukee ahead of the 2023 season to team up with Giannis Antetokounmpo. But the duo never quite lived up to the hype fans expected, and after tearing his achilles in the 2024 postseason, Lillard returned to the Blazers to rehab in 2025 and expects to return to the hardwood next season. Despite not playing in a single game last season, he was still able to win the Three-Point Shootout at All-Star weekend for the third time in his career.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Lillard is one of 25 NBA players to average at least 20 points-per-game in 10 or more different seasons. How many of those players can you name in five minutes?

Good luck!
