The 'Most points in a regular season game for each NBA franchise' quiz

With the Memphis Grizzlies taking on the Dallas Mavericks in a do-or-die game for the final spot in the Western Conference playoffs, don’t expect something as paltry as an ankle injury to keep Ja Morant off the floor.

“I’m playing,” he said simply after rolling his ankle in the second half of the 121-116 loss to the Golden State Warriors in the 7 vs 8 game of the Play-In Tournament.

Morant returned to the game after the injury and finished with 22 points on 50 percent shooting from the floor. After a strong performance from Mavs stars Klay Thompson and Anthony Davis in their first elimination game against the Sacramento Kings, the Grizzlies will need all the fire power they have to secure a date with the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Morant certainly has the ability to will a team to victory in a one-and-done scenario. With that being said, can you name the player to score the most points in a game for each NBA franchise?

Good luck!
