With the New York Knicks hiring Mike Brown as their next head coach, there are no more vacancies left in the NBA. Brown is a two-time Coach of the Year with plenty of experience with high-profile jobs thanks to his time with LeBron James in Cleveland and Kobe Brant in Los Angeles. Now he has the tall task of improving on the job done by Tom Thibodeau, who led the Knicks to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2000 but was fired after falling to the underdog Indiana Pacers.
NBA insider Shams Charania shared what the Knicks liked enough about Brown to put him in charge.
“The Kicks felt Brown’s collaboration and adaptability was head and shoulders above the other candidates they had,” Charania told ESPN.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. How many of the NBA head coaches to win the Coach of the Year Award in the Three-Point Era can you name in five minutes?
