The Boston Celtics may not have won a playoff series this year, but head coach Joe Mazzulla will still take home some hardware after being named the 2025-26 Coach of the Year.
With the Celtics missing Jayson Tatum for the majority of the season, Mazzulla still led the Celtics to a 56-26 record and second-place finish in the Eastern Conference. While they were eventually upset in seven games by the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round of the playoffs, the Celtics success over the course of the regular season without their franchise player was enough for Mazzulla to win the award. The 37-year-old has been a head coach for just four seasons, but he already has an NBA title and now Coach of the Year under his belt.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Mazzulla is the first Celtics coach to win the distinction since Bill Fitch in 1979-80, the first year of the three-point era. With that being said, can you name every NBA Coach of the Year in the three-point era?
Good luck!
