The 'NBA Finals MVPs' quiz

Happy 63rd birthday to 12-time NBA All-Star and All-NBA selection, 1984-85 rookie of the year, 1993-94 MVP and two-time Finals champion and MVP, Hakeem “The Dream,” Olajuwon!

The native of Lagos, Nigeria was an integral part of the famous “Phi Slamma Jamma,” Houston Cougar squad that lost in the national championship game to Jim Valvano and North Carolina State in 1983. He was selected with the first-overall pick by the Houston Rockets in the 1984 NBA Draft, and he averaged 20.6 points and 11.9 rebounds-per-game in his first professional campaign.

He’d go on to win the NBA blocks title three times, while winning Defensive Player of the Year and the rebound title twice.

Olajuwon played 17 seasons with the Rockets, and retired after a final year in Toronto in 2001-02. When he called it quits, Olajuwon had racked up 26,946 points, 3,058 rebounds and a still-standing NBA record of 3,830 blocks en route to a 2008 induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. His championships and finals MVPs came in back-to-back seasons (1993-94 and 1994-95), with his lone regular season MVP award coming in 1993 as well. With that being said, can you name every NBA Finals MVP since the award was first given in 1969?

Good luck!
