One of the biggest names in the NBA’s offseason rumor mill was Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo, and one of the teams that seemed a possible destination for the Greek Freak was the New York Knicks.
But the sides weren’t able to get a deal done, and in the Bucks first game against the Knicks this season, Giannis made them pay with a 37-point, eight-rebound, seven-assist performance in a 121-111 win. After the win, Antetokounmpo rebuffed questions about his interest in joining the Knicks.
“I’m here representing my team, and that’s it. We beat the Knicks, that’s what matters,” he said.
“I try to stay away from all the rumors. That doesn’t concern me one bit.”
The two-time MVP is off to a historic start this season, becoming the first player in NBA history to score at least 140 points, haul in at least 50 rebounds and dish out at least 20 assists in his first four games of the season.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Whenever Antetokounmpo does leave Milwaukee, whether via trade, free agency or retirement, he’ll do so as one of the best Bucks of all-time. With that being said, can you name the players with the most 30-point games for each NBA franchise?
Good luck!
