Happy 30th birthday to three-time All-Star and All-NBA honoree, 2025-26 NBA In-Season Tournament MVP, Eastern Conference Finals MVP and NBA Finals MVP, Jalen Brunson!
A player would be hard-pressed to take home as much hardware as Brunson did last season, leading the Knicks to both an In-Season Tournament and NBA Finals championship. After averaging 26.0 points and 6.8 assists-per-game in the regular season, the Brunson Burner turned the temperature up a notch in the postseason with 28.4 points-per-game.
The result was one of the most dominant runs to the NBA Finals we’ve seen in some time before the franchise’s first NBA title since the days of Willis Reed and Walt Frazier. With no major departures aside from center Mitchell Robinson, the Knicks will have their eyes on capturing back-to-back titles despite what could be a strong Eastern Conference in 2026-27.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Brunson became the first Knick to finish the leader in playoff points-per-game since Bernard King in 1984. With that being said, can you name the PPG leader for each NBA postseason since 1977?
Good luck!
