Happy 48th birthday to four-time NBA champion, Basketball Hall-of-Famer, bat catcher and San Antonio Spurs legend Manu Ginobili!
Ginobili was a key piece of Gregg Popovich's dynasty, often as a bench piece. When he retired after the 2018 he’d played in 1,057 games in his career, but logged just 349 starts. Despite rarely making a starting lineup, Ginobili still played starters minutes when the games mattered most, averaging more than 30 minutes-per-game in six consecutive playoffs despite doing so just twice in the regular season.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Ginobili won the 2008 Sixth Man of the Year award for his bench contributions. With that being said, how many of the players to be named the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year can you name in six minutes?
Good luck!
