The 'NBA steals leaders since 1976' quiz

Happy 35th birthday to 12-year NBA veteran Ricky Rubio!

The Spaniard was infamously the first of back-to-back point guards the Timberwolves selected in the top-10 of the 2009 NBA Draft, neither of which were named Stephen Curry who went to Golden State at No. 7.

Despite getting outshined by one of the greatest players of all-time, Rubio was a serviceable floor general in his 12 NBA seasons. He averaged 10.1 points and 7.4 assists in 29.6 minutes-per-game over his dozen years between Minnesota, Utah, Cleveland and Phoenix. Since the 2022-23 season, Rubio has returned to Europe to play with Barcelona and will play his first season with Joventut Badalona in 2025.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Rubio led the NBA in steals with 191 in 2013-14. With that being said, can you name every NBA player to lead the league in total steals since the NBA/ABA merger in 1976-77?

Good luck!
