The 'NBA's Most Improved Players' quiz

A flurry of relatively expected moves have come in the hours approaching the 2026 NBA Draft, but one that was unexpected was the Brooklyn Nets acquiring Julius Randle from Minnesota.

The former seventh-overall averaged more than 20 points-per-game for the sixth time in seven seasons last year, but saw his numbers dip slightly in the NBA Playoffs. After losing to the San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference Semifinals, the T-Wolves decided to essentially move on from his contract in exchange for the 33rd-overall pick from Brooklyn.

Per Timberwolves reporter Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic, the starting power forward gig will likely belong to Naz Reid, who has three-consecutive top-5 finishes in Sixth Man of the Year voting and won the award in 2023-24.

Randle, meanwhile, is heading back to the city where he made his three All-Star appearances and was named the 2020-21 Most Improved Player during his five seasons with the New York Knicks.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Randle is one of 41 players to be named the Most Improved Player in the NBA. How many of those players can you name in five minutes?

Good luck!
