Happy 87th birthday to 12-time NBA All-Star, 11-time All-NBA selection, 1963-64 NBA MVP and 1971 NBA champion, Oscar Robertson!
Robertson spent his 14-year NBA career between the Cincinnati Royals (now the Sacramento Kings) and the Milwaukee Bucks, averaging 25.7 points, 9.5 assists and 7.5 rebounds-per-game in his career. Before Russell Westbrook normalized the triple-double, Robertson was the NBA’s original “Mr. Triple-Double.” His all-time record of 181 stood from 1974 until 2021, when Westbrook recorded the 182nd of his career against the Atlanta Hawks.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Robertson is still in second-place on the NBA’s all-time triple-double list, and his 176 with the Royals have him 126 above second-place in Kings history. With that being said, can you name every NBA franchise leader in triple-doubles?
Good luck!
