Ahead of Game 6 against the Oklahoma City Thunder, San Antonio Spurs guard Stephon Castle was asked about what the team’s discussion was like while watching the film of their 127-114 loss in Game 5.
“As a group we all want this. It’s right there in front of us and we feel collectively that we’re better than this team,” he told the NBC crew before Game 6.
Castle backed that up on Thursday, scoring 17 points and dishing out a game-high nine assists. He brings series averages of 18.3 points and 7.8 assists-per-game into Game 7, something they’ve needed with veteran De’Aaron Fox not at 100 percent.
The Western Conference champion will be decided in Oklahoma City on Saturday, with the winner advancing to take on the New York Knicks in the NBA Finals.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Castle set a Spurs record by becoming the youngest player in franchise history to score at least 30 points in a playoff game earlier this postseason. With that being said, can you name the youngest 30-point playoff scorers for each NBA franchise?
Good luck!
