The Thunder are in. And they’re not slowing down.

Oklahoma City became the first team to clinch a playoff spot with a 113-108 win over Orlando, improving to an NBA-best 54-15. That’s nine straight victories and counting for the defending champs.

It’s the 13th postseason berth for the franchise since 2010.

The Thunder are now locked into a top-six finish in the West, meaning no play-in worries. Just a straight shot to the first round. And with 13 games left, the focus shifts to positioning.

They’re chasing the No. 1 seed, with the Spurs still within striking distance. Division control is also within reach, depending on how things shake out around the conference.

What stands out is the consistency.

Oklahoma City sprinted out of the gate, winning 24 of its first 25. There were a few dips along the way, but nothing that stuck. Now comes another surge at the right time. And they’ve done it without being whole.

Jalen Williams and Isaiah Hartenstein have both missed extended time, yet the Thunder haven’t blinked. That depth has carried them through.

Now they’re healthy enough. Hot at the right time. And already in. Everything from here is about seeding.
