The Oklahoma City Thunder are all-in on Cason Wallace.
The Thunder have signed Wallace to a five-year, $139 million contract extension, per ESPN’s Shams Charania.
The deal kicks in during the 2027-28 campaign, preventing Wallace from entering restricted free agency next offseason.
The 22-year-old started a career-high 58 games for the Thunder last season. But most of those opportunities came in place of All-Star Jalen Williams, who dealt with injuries throughout the 2025-26 season.

With the Thunder parting ways with Lu Dort, Wallace is set to become a full-time starter entering the fourth and final year of his rookie contract.
Wallace averaged 8.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.9 steals per game across 77 games last season. He earned a spot on the All-Defensive second team and even received Defensive Player of the Year votes after leading the NBA with 150 total steals.
