The Thunder have requested waivers on Buddy Boeheim, Nate Johnson, Lamar Wilkerson and Christoph Tilly, the team announced today.
All four players were on Exhibit 10 training camp deals and are now eligible for bonuses worth up to $91K if they spent at least 60 days with the Thunder’s G League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue.
A 26-year-old who has made 24 NBA regular season appearances across three separate seasons, Boeheim saw action in 18 games last season with the Blue and averaged 15.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists in 33.3 minutes per contest. He was signed earlier on Saturday after the Thunder waived Dariq Whitehead.
Johnson (Kansas State), Wilkerson (Indiana) and Tilly (Ohio State) all went undrafted in 2026. Oklahoma City just completed its agreements with Johnson and Wilkerson on Friday evening, but German big man Tilly spent all of training camp and the preseason with the Thunder.
The Thunder now have 17 players under contract, including three on two-way deals. They appear likely to open the season with 14 players on standard deals to maintain flexibility below the second apron and save money toward their projected luxury tax payment.
