Oklahoma City Thunder wing Jalen Williams has been brilliant this season, emerging as a first-time All-Star.
The Santa Clara product didn't take long to impress, as the star potential was seen during his rookie campaign. However, the 23-year-old officially got the stamp of approval as a star in just his third season in the league.
Having the Most Valuable Player on the roster -- as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander received the trophy on Thursday night -- is a great recipe for a 68-win team.
However, Gilgeous-Alexander couldn't do it alone, and Williams was his co-star along the way.
Williams averaged 21.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game as the Thunder won a franchise-most amount of games in a season.
Right now, the third-year pro is helping the Thunder throughout the playoffs, as the club currently holds a 2-0 series lead over the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference Finals.
In the midst of the team's playoff run, the NBA made a major announcement on Friday, which included Williams.
The Thunder star made the All-NBA Third Team -- alongside Tyrese Haliburton, Karl-Anthony Towns, Cade Cunningham and James Harden

Unsurprisingly, Gilgeous-Alexander, the NBA's MVP, made the All-NBA First Team.
The accolades have continued to rain down. Williams also made the All-Defensive Second Team, just after Thunder guard Lu Dort made the All-Defensive First Team.
A team with 68 regular season wins and a historically great defense is bound to dominate awards, and Oklahoma City has certainly been well-represented.
Now, the club aims to continue their playoff run and raise the first banner in franchise history, albeit a short history after moving to Oklahoma City in 2008.
