Oklahoma City Thunder star guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was added to the injury report as questionable for Wednesday's game against the visiting Utah Jazz.

Gilgeous-Alexander is dealing with bursitis in his right knee for the Thunder, who have split their last 12 games after starting the season on a scintillating 24-1 run.

Signed to a four-year, $273.3 million super maximum contract extension in the offseason, Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging 31.6 points, 6.4 assists and 4.4 rebounds in 36 games (all starts) this season.

The reigning NBA MVP, who led the Thunder to their first title in June, sat out Oklahoma City's 131-101 victory over Utah on Dec. 7 with left elbow bursitis.

Gilgeous-Alexander, 27, is averaging 25.0 points, 5.2 assists and 4.8 boards in 498 career games (489 starts) with the Los Angeles Clippers (2018-19) and Thunder.
