Anthony Edwards scored 32 points on 13-for-18 shooting, and the Minnesota Timberwolves finished strong for a 125-112 win over the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday night in Minneapolis.

Julius Randle added 22 points and 12 assists for Minnesota, which earned its second victory in as many nights. Donte DiVincenzo tallied 18 points, and Naz Reid scored 15 off the bench.

De'Aaron Fox scored 25 points on 10-for-15 shooting to lead San Antonio. Devin Vassell and Keldon Johnson finished with 22 points apiece.

Minnesota outscored San Antonio 36-19 in the fourth quarter to secure the win.

The Spurs led 93-87 with 30 seconds remaining in the third quarter. Johnson knocked down a 3-pointer off an assist from Fox to boost the lead to six points.

Timberwolves second-year guard Terrence Shannon Jr. made a pair of free throws to cut the deficit to 93-89 entering the fourth quarter.

Despite playing the second game of a back-to-back set, Minnesota seemed to gain strength in the final 12 minutes. Randle opened the fourth-quarter scoring with a step-back jump shot, and Reid followed with a 3-pointer to put the Timberwolves on top 94-93 with 11:18 to go.

Dylan Harper made a driving layup to keep San Antonio within 100-98 with 8:43 remaining.

Minnesota responded with a 7-0 run to grab a nine-point lead. DiVincenzo made a 3-pointer to start the run, which also included layups by Jaden McDaniels and DiVincenzo.

Another 7-0 run later in the fourth quarter boosted the Timberwolves' lead to 114-100. That run included a 3-pointer by Mike Conley, a dunk by McDaniels and a driving layup by DiVincenzo.

Fox made a pair of free throws to pull the Spurs within 114-105 with four minutes to go, but that was the last time they trailed by single digits.

San Antonio led 62-61 at the half.

The Spurs played without injured players Victor Wembanyama (left calf strain), Stephon Castle (left hip flexor strain) and Jordan McLaughlin (left hamstring strain).
