No other specifics were provided for the delay to Sunday's Western Conference matchup.
According to the Star Tribune's Chris Hine, there was reportedly an issue with the Timberwolves City Edition court that was noticed during shootaround on Sunday morning. Workers had to replace the court.
This comes after another delay recently happened at Target Center on Dec. 21, when a rim needed to be adjusted before the Wolves took on the Golden State Warriors. The delay caused the game to begin 30 minutes late.
The Timberwolves (16-14) and Spurs (16-15) have split two matchups so far this season, as San Antonio defeated Minnesota 113-10 on Nov. 2 in San Antonio and the Wolves won 106-92 in San Antonio on Dec. 15.
