We’ve got the Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Dallas Mavericks Game 3 Results according to NBA 2K24 to see who the game predicts as our winner. The Mavericks currently lead the series 2-0, and now head back home to potentially finish the series. Minnesota, meanwhile, hopes to rebound before it’s too late. Our 2K24 Simulations inaccurately predicted the outcomes of the first two games. We’ll see if it can accurately predict an outcome for once.

Timberwolves vs. Mavericks Western Conference Final Game 3 Results According to 2K24

According to our NBA 2K24 simulation, the Dallas Mavericks will defeat the Minnesota Timberwolves 128-123 . The Mavericks dominated throughout most of the game, even earning a 13 point lead at one point. Despite a strong comeback effort from Minnesota, the team was unable to win this critical matchup.

*Note, the stream was cut into two parts because technology sucks. You can watch the rest of the simulation below the scoreboard.

MIN 25 25 30 43 123
DAL 30 27 32 39 128

In terms of player performances, Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic led the charge. Irving scored 47 points, earned 7 assists, and converted all of his Free throws. His accuracy towards the end of the contest prevented a Timberwolves comeback. Doncic added 32 points along with 16 assists, with a steal and 2 blocks to boot. Dereck Lively II also played well, scoring 14 points and earning 12 rebounds in the game.

As for the Timberwolves Anthony Edwards (unrealistically) dropped 71 points in this game. He also earned 2 steals and a block, and converted 14-of-23 three point shots. Unfortunately nobody else on the team was able to support him with strong performances of their own. Although the Timberwolves kept it close, the talent around Edwards weren’t able to step up on defense.

Additionally, check out some game stats:

Timberwolves STAT Mavericks

5 (4) Turnovers (Points Off) 3 (6)
13 Team Fouls 5

With the win, the Mavericks now claim a 3-0 series lead over the Timberwolves. At this point, it feels less like a matter of if, but rather when the Mavericks will win the series now. The team has played exceptionally well this series, and can hopefully close it out in Game 4. We’ll see if they got what it takes, or if they’ll fold under pressure.

With the loss, the Timberwolves are now in desperation mode. It seems unlikely now that they’ll be able to win this series against an experienced team. Although we love to see players like Anthony Edwards make headlines, this year might not be his. However, it’s not over yet. The Timberwolves still have a chance to come back, but it’ll take the whole team.

In terms of accuracy, the score was still a bit too high. While it was lower than the Game 2 simulation score, we’d like to lower it for future games.
